A Lamar County Woman, Linda Jessica Gunn was sentenced to hard time in prison last Tuesday by Judge Tommy Wilson in Lamar Superior Court after entering a guilty plea to three counts of abusing her three-month-old daughter, Victoria, in March, 2014.
Visibly irate when Gunn tried to deny full responsibility for the abuse, Judge Tommy Wilson sentenced Gunn to 30 years in prison and 30 years on probation.
The Judge also admonished Gunn’s mother and other family members to stop abusing the adoptive mother of Victoria and a sibling born while Gunn was in jail on social media, threatening them with jail time if they did not take down posts and desist from making new ones.
