In Pike County qualifying for the Special Election for the unexpired term of Mayor is under way. The Qualifying for the Mayor’s seat will be held Tuesday, Jan. 19 and Wednesday, Jan. 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with lunch from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Qualifying will also be Thursday, Jan. 21 from 8:30 a.m. until 12 noon at Molena City Hall at 10 Spring Rd Molena.
The qualifying fee for mayor is $18 for candidates.
