A Lama County resident was killed and two other individuals were injured early Saturday Morning about 3:30 AM in a one vehicle accident on Morgan Dairy Road in Lamar County. Investigators indicated that the accident was near Cook Road intersection. Kara Allison Holland, age 21 was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. One other individual was also ejected from the vehicle crash, and another individual inside he vehicle were injured, they were identified as but the injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
Instigators said that the pickup truck ran off the road way, the driver then overcorrected ran into a ditch on the opposite side of the road and overturned.
Miss Holland was the daughter of Frankie and Julie Holland who own Frank’s Auto and Towing in Lamar County. Kara was a nursing student at Gordon State College in Barnesville.
