About 10:00 on Wednesday evening a two-vehicle collision on South Pine Hill Road resulting in one driver being transported to Spalding Regional with injuries. The collision resulted in Pine Hill Road being blocked.
The Georgia State Patrol Troopers from the Griffin Post of the Georgia State Patrol were called to the scene and investigated the accident.
The individual transported to Spalding Regional was complaining of back and arm pain and was transported to Spalding Regional with injuries not thought to be life threatening.
Also on Wednesday evening 911 received a call of needed support from the Spalding Sheriffs Department, Henry County Investigators, Henry County EMS in relation to a two vehicle collision on I-75, close to the Spalding County Line.
One of the individuals a passenger in one of the vehicles fled into a wooded area. K-9 Units were also dispatched to the scene. Law Enforcement Officials were at the scene for several hours but there was no report of the individual being captured.
