About 7:15 Wednesday Morning units of the Griffin Police Department, Spalding Regional and Investigators responded to Kentucky avenue to a individual that reported to 911 he had been stabbed in the leg. When Griffin Patrol units arrived on the Scene They contacted a male subject that advised them that the stabbing took place on Lexington avenue. Griffin Police Investigators were called to the scene. The injured male victim was transported to Spalding Regional for Treatment and evaluation of what was believed to be non life threatening injuries. The investigation is still underway and more information is expected to be released later.
