WKEU news broadcast the event on AM 1450, and Georgia Public Radio The Rock 889.FM. We talked with some of the attendees following the ceremony. They said related it was one of the most moving Memorial Day events in recent memory.

WKEU’s Bill Taylor Lieutenant Colonel Retired said we were honored to broadcast the vent for the families of veterans that were unable to attend the event on Memorial Day. And we urge everyone to never forget the price of freedom that this Nation’s veterans have paid for all of us. As Colonel Imes said during the program “Far over a million service members have paid the ultimate price for our freedoms, and our Constitution as our fore fathers had intended. From the Revolutionary war to present. NOT including those that are still carried as lost in action.

Tonight as you go to sleep remember a small prayer for those veterans both living and dead that have paid the price for you to be safe in your homes with the freedom to worship as you please and raise your family in the most wonderful place on earth the United States of America. A real gift of God and those veterans may of which you will never know.
