All of Georgia, remains under a Public Health State of Emergency through Nov. 9, 2020. Residents are encouraged to remain home, but if they go out in public they should wear masks.
The state is currently reporting 351,881 cases and 7,827 deaths. The 7-day average of cases is 1,535. Georgia has conducted over 3.46 million COVID-19 tests with a 9.5 % positive rate. The rolling 7-day average is 7.2% positive.
The governor’s latest order allows counties and states to allow mask mandates in public. Residents who are over 65 years old are no longer ordered to shelter in place unless they live in a nursing home or long care facility or are medically fragile. Georgians are required to quarantine two weeks if travelling to NY, NJ, CT and Chicago.
