About 7:48 Thursday Morning a one vehicle accident on the Griffin bypass sends two patientsto Spalding Regional.

A one vehicle accident on the 19/41 Bypass occurred about 7:48 Thursday morning when a driver of a Black Lexus, struck the Guard rail on the Bypass close to the Ellis Road Bridge.

The accident occurred in the South Bound lanes of traffic.   The two patients were taken to Spalidng Regional for observation of complaints of chest pains, that may have occurred from seat belts or air bags. But to be sure they asked to be checked out at Spalidng Regional. Traffic flow was returned to normal following wrecker pickup of the Lexus and debris removed from the area.
