Michael Buffalo Smith, the Ambassador of Southern Rock, will present a musical tribute to the great southern rock musicians at the Concord Event Center, Sat., Dec. 7, 5PM-7PM.
Smith will highlight his newest release from Mercer University Press, The Road Goes on Forever: Fifty Years of the Allman Brothers Band Music. Smith personally spoke with former Allman Brothers members, including Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, Butch Trucks, Warren Haynes, and Allen Woody, to create this tribute to Macon’s greatest rock and roll export.
Michael Buffalo Smith has been interviewing the movers and shakers in rock and country music for over 25 years, and has appeared on stage with Spooner Oldham, Billy Bob Thornton and The Boxmasters, the Marshall Tucker Band, the Charlie Daniels Band, the Southern Rock Allstars, and many others.
