On November 16, 2019, Uniformed Patrol Officers with the Griffin Police Department received a call in reference to a burglary in progress at 1150 W. College St. Ext. As Officers arrived on scene, they observed four subjects inside a secured fence at this location. The subjects fled the scene but were captured after a brief chase.
Upon investigation, it was determined that all four subjects were trespassing at this location and had illegally entered eight vehicles at this location. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the four subjects had entered three vehicles located at 1146 W. College Street Ext.
All four subjects are juveniles and are charged with one count of Criminal Trespass, one count of Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer and eleven counts of Entering Auto.
