WKEU has received the following notification from Da’ood Amin Griffin Mayor Candidate in the Election of 5 November in relation to the re-count. “We just finished the recount at the Voter Election’s Office and there were no changes in the vote count from last Tuesday.
I would like to express my deepest appreciation to each and every person that voted for me, that campaigned on my behalf, that made a financial contribution, that welcomed me into their Church, and that said a prayer on my behalf. I have gained many new friends and acquaintances while out on the campaign trail and I have enjoyed each and every second of our time spent talking to citizens in the city.
Congratulations to Mr. Doug Hollberg, who ran an honorable and respectable campaign. I will continue to work tirelessly to make my hometown the best it can possibly be. Again, on behalf of all of the team, thanks for all of your support.”
