
GRIFFIN FIRE RESCUE
About 10:50 on Wednesday evening several fire units of the Griffin Fire Rescue, were called to a large house fire at 746 East Chapel Street. Upon arrival fire department personnel reported heavy flames to the entire structure.
City power crews also responded to the scene, as well as Regional EMS, and Spalding Chapter of the American Red Cross. Fire Department personnel indicated the home was probably a total loss.
A Family of three was displaced due to the fire. The Red Cross was on the scene to render assistance and aid to the family if you would like to assist the family, please contact the Griffin Chapter of the American Red Cross. There were no reported injuries to the family members or firefighters at the scene.
