Griffin’s own world renowned Beatles cover band The Return will perform a special concert at the Griffin Auditorium on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 7:30PM. Tickets are $20 and all proceeds go to support the Griffin Area Concert Association and the Camelot Theatre Company. Advance tickets are now available at the Griffin-Spalding Chamber of Commerce; First National Bank Main Office and Zebulon, GA Branch, and at A Novel Experience Bookstore in Zebulon, GA. Advance tickets may also be purchased online at griffinconcerts.org or camelottheatre.com. Tickets, if still available, may also be purchased at the door on the date of the concert beginning at 630PM. The doors will open at 6:30PM and all seating is open with no reserved seating.
The Return strives to recreate the early sixties Beatles concert experience from the tiniest detail (John Lennon’s on-stage gum-chewing) to the biggest, most expensive details (using exact replicas of the instruments and gear the Beatles used). This concert will feature their show “Beatlemania – Touring Years 1963 – 66”.
The Return has crafted a truly authentic, entertaining, and very exciting show. And in doing so, the band not only delivers a near perfect reproduction of a live Beatles concert–they capture the very essence of the Beatles themselves. The Return has played literally thousands of shows throughout the U.S. and around the world. They have performed at the Cavern in Liverpool, England, where the original Beatles got their start, and played a concert at Abbey Road Studios in London. The Return recently headlined the 40th anniversary celebration in Japan of the Beatle’s only visit to Tokyo.
The members of The Return are Richard Stelling as John Lennon, Shane Landers as Paul McCartney, Michael Fulop as George Harrison, and Adam Thurston as Ringo Starr.
